Search by keyword
Enter a keyword in the search bar at the top of the screen to search across users, communities, and stories. You can find people, spaces, and posts whose nicknames, bios, community names, story text, and other details match what you type.
What you can search for

| Stories | Posts whose story title or body contains the keyword |
From the results, you can open each user’s profile, a community page, or a story post.
What is searchable for users
Section titled “What is searchable for users”The following profile fields are included in keyword search:
- Nickname
- Bio
- Username (identifier starting with
@) - Profile attributes (gender identity, sexual orientation, social position, supporter labels, and similar)
- Location (only when set to public on your profile, such as prefecture or region)
Visibility and search
Section titled “Visibility and search”Each profile field can be set to public, friends only, or private. The same rules apply to search.

Supporter labels are always treated as public for search.
When you enter several words separated by spaces (for example, Hokkaido reading), users who match more of those words across attributes, location, and similar fields tend to appear higher in the results.
What is searchable for communities

@identifier)
Only communities set to public are searchable. Private communities do not appear in search results. For more on visibility, see Find and join communities.
What is searchable for stories
Section titled “What is searchable for stories”- Story title
- Story body
Only stories you are allowed to view are included. For example, posts in private spaces or posts you cannot access are not shown in search results.
When results may not appear
Section titled “When results may not appear”You may not see someone or something in search results when:
- You have blocked them or they have blocked you
- A user space or community is private and your relationship does not meet the search conditions
- A profile field is private or friends only and you are not friends
