Profile and search visibility
Each profile field (nickname, bio, date of birth, and so on) can be set to public, friends only, or private. You can also use account privacy settings so your account does not appear in search or listings.
The same visibility rules apply to keyword search at the top of the screen. For example, attributes set to friends only match keyword search only when the searcher is your friend. For a list of fields included in search, see Search by keyword.
How visibility works

| Friends only | Only users in a friend relationship with you can view it. |
| Private | Only you can view it. |
