Deepen your connections
To deepen interactions with friends and community members, reactions, comments, and a complete profile are effective tools.
Reactions
Section titled “Reactions”Reactions let you share empathy or encouragement on a post without writing a long message. Choose from types shown on screen, such as +1 or heart. Each person can add one type per post; selecting the same reaction again removes it.
For authors, reactions from viewers offer a sense of how friends responded. For viewers, reactions can mean “I read this” or “I’m cheering you on.”
Reaction counts on posts to notes can be viewed only by certain users, depending on where the post was made. They are not shown to the general public.
- Posts to a user space note … users in a friend relationship only
- Posts to a community note … members of that community only

Comments
Section titled “Comments”Comments help you continue a conversation in words starting from a post. Sharing impressions, questions, or your own experience can lead to dialogue with the author and with other viewers. Replies appear in a thread under the post, making it easy to follow the exchange.
On posts that accept comments, you can attach one image in addition to text. On posts set to Do not accept comments, new comments cannot be added.
Profile
Section titled “Profile”Completing your user space profile (nickname, bio, icon, attributes, and so on) helps friends and community members understand your background and interests. Shared topics make natural conversation easier.
Visibility settings
Section titled “Visibility settings”Some profile fields let you choose:
- Public … Any Colorfulia user can view them.
- Limited … Only users in a friend relationship with you can view them.
- Private … Only you can view them.
